VIC Agents’ Representative Registration (CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice)

Agents’ Representatives may be employed by a licensed estate agent in a sales, leasing, business broking, or stock and station role.

This course is appropriate for:

  • individuals seeking to start work in the Victorian property industry

  • individuals currently registered as agents’ representatives under the superseded training package who wish to upgrade to a licence (completion of the CPP51122 Diploma of Property [Agency Management] is then also required).

This course requires the completion of 18 units of competency.

Successful completion of this course (CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice) meets the educational requirements needed to work as an agents’ representative in Victoria. Employers are required to verify that you are eligible to be an agent's representative, and notify the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) when you start work.

VIC Estate Agent Licence Upgrade (CPP51122 Diploma of Property [Agency Management])

An Estate Agent Licence issued by Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) will allow you to work as a licensed estate agent in a sales, leasing, business broking, or stock and station role. You may run your own agency and hire agents’ representatives to work under your supervision.

This course is appropriate for those who are currently employed as a Victorian agent’s representative and have completed the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. Students currently registered under the superseded training requirements will need to complete a recognition of prior learning application before enrolling.

This course requires the completion of 12 units of competency. Successful completion of this course (CPP51122 Diploma of Property [Agency Management]) meets the educational requirements needed for application to Victoria Consumer Affairs (CAV) for an Estate Agent Licence. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate that they meet all other application requirements as set out by CAV.

VIC Auctioneer Accreditation

An auctioneer accreditation allows restricted real estate agents to complete sales by auction.

This course requires the completion of three units of competency. Successful completion of this course meets the educational requirements needed for application as a licensee to Consumer Affairs Victoria for an auctioneer accreditation.
